Accomplishments: Proposed 32+ institutions for the Integration of GSR in Curricula to focus on sustainability, ethics, and equity for educational transformation Locally and globally

  • 68+ projects, tools & techniques, programs, training modules, workshops, designed and delivered to empower young generation to lead initiatives addressing global challenges such as poverty, inequality and climate change.
  • 930+ collaborations materialized with Universities, NGOs, Industries and Institutions for cross-cultural and interdisciplinary learning experiences, enhancing socio- economic impact including job creation, inclusion that support marginalized communities ensuring equitable access to resources and opportunities.
  • Proposed 60+ projects & programs to different institutions, locally and globally for prioritizing environmental considerations — carbon neutrality initiatives and promoting green practices by setting up benchmarks for sustainability and adopting green technologies respectively, including Advocacy, Practice and Policy influence.

Experience

I hold “CSR-PhD” with Distinction, achieving (100% marks) perfect CGPA of 4.0, plus “Gold-Medal” in PGD  “Human Resources” from NILAT (Govt. of Pakistan) and have been actively engaged in “Informal Social Responsibility“ since 1982, while formally studying Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) since 2000.
My PhD thesis, rigorously examined by esteemed professors of leading institutions Washington, D.C., and California (USA), laid a strong foundation for my ongoing work in the field.

In 2017–18, I developed the “4D-Destination-wise Education Counseling Model” as part of my research studies, under the umbrella of Dr. Izhar First International School of CSR and CSR Recorder (the first international CSR journal of Pakistan). This is not just conventional counseling, but a comprehensive solution for the success of each student, individual and their family-happiness including an innovative roadmap for the safety of our children’s future. To test this core innovation, I launched a pilot through a Hospital Business Unit, Lyfe Healthcare, which revealed great success with tremendous business potential plus opened pathways to allied business ventures in education, healthcare and technology sectors.At the same time, I worked on expanding the scope of CSR to make it a 360-degree, holistic framework serving diverse stakeholders specifically YOUTHS. Building on this foundation, in June 2022, I further advanced my research and practice by transitioning CSR into GSR, a more comprehensive paradigm: Global Social Responsibility (GSR) – an evolved model designed to address younger’s ambiguity, global challenges and opportunities including Responsible Businesses growth with sustainability.

Initiated and established Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department, under the supervision of Dean, Faculty of Management and Administrative Sciences, as per the guidelines of SECP, HEC, Company Ordinance 1984, Company Act., 2017 and United Nation Global Compact (UNGC) Working on 4-Dimentional CSR portfolio as mentioned below

(1) CSR Education (From Certificate, Diploma to University degree programs)

(2) CSR Audit, Training & Consultancy (Industries / Organizations)

(3) CSR Technology – ERP and Public Policy (Govt. & Non-Govt. Institutions, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft & Abacus)

(4) CSR Young Generation Chapter (Productive engagement of youth population + cultivation of CSR professionals)

Developed “CSR-Portfolio-Partnership” with British Council (UK), Daily Dawn News Paper’s International Education Expo, Lyfe Healthcare, Institute of Bankers’ Pakistan (IBP), Sindh Police and ABAD (Association of Builders & Developers) to generate bulk income for all the stakeholders and creation of opportunities for youths productive engagement.

PAK BRITISH GROUP (2020 –2021)   Dean / KTP (Contract)

– Responsible for management of entire operation from educational matters to HR, Administration, TfD, Marketing and Business Development including individual & group counseling at base and different Schools, colleges & universities and institutions to develop core business of the institution, generated Rs 10-Millions.

– Prepared and Managed “1230” Students for English language learning, IELTS, TOFEL, PTE, UK-IV, OET, C1 & C2 / Cambridge Advance English Tests for admission to international universities & immigration to different countries, earned Rs.20-Million.

– Inject “4D-CSR Business Model” to assist
the organization in expanding, growing,
and making it sustainable through Micro CSR projects. Initiated this idea through the start of “School business with Health facility” in 2021 (upto secondary level), 650 students
got admission within one year. Generated
Rs 10 Million annual income, now its
growing day-by-day.

– Supported 1200 students for their
education continuation through the
arrangement of financial aid by Ahsan
Trust-KU, JICA (Japan), Habib Foundation,
AMOUBA, SSUET and KG Alumni Association

Designed and drafted HR policy manual, also responsible for making necessary amendments in various other statuary rules and Legal / Administrative policies
and saved Rs1.2 Million annually.

As designated focal person for HEC on behalf of the University in 2012, designed “Memorandum of Articles of Association” for Alumni Association under HEC guidelines. Created income aspects for Rs 2- Million annually

Revitalized Career Planning Placement Bureau (CPPB / Industrial liaison) introduced commensurate Policies, Procedures and various formats (18 Nos). Built strong & productive relationship with 1300 Organizations, Placed 5000+ students in the Internship programs. After rigorous follow-up and missionary zeal, arranged 4000+ employment for university-students. In the process conducted 50+ Training / Workshops and developed MIS for the department.

Created entrepreneur development center within CPPB / Industrial liaison department and materialized 20 final year projects for commercialization. Carried out projects of Aga Khan Hospital ( No.1 Hospital of Pakistan) and Pakistan Army

Designed & delivered various training courses related to personal, professional, business and organizational development. Designed and drafted 800 MoUs with different Institutions / Industries related with faculty exchange / partnership and Industrial Liaison.

Initiated for making SSUET smoking-free university and taking it to the Guinness book of World Record through innovative CSR tools and techniques.

Provided counseling services for higher studies, character building, morale boosting, values recognition and managed to send 1800+ students to foreign universities of different countries. Arranged 15 sponsorship and 70 scholarships. Organized 56 No’s. Industrial tours for students. Saved the lives of 130-students by utilizing different CSR-Counselling modules.

Completed 90,000+ customers’ mapping including their geographical realignment with their IDs, resulting in deduction of administrative cost to the tune of about Rs 50 million per annum, besides generating additional income of Rs 100 million annually.

Facilitated the introduction of One Window Operation set-up with close coordination of SAP ( Germany) team for 90,000 customers involving 250 workforces for smooth functioning and prompt daily reporting of attendance, Occupational Health & Safety compliance, Daily cash collection, Fault rectification, Recovery, Bills correction including Sales.

Participated and supervised designing of HRIS on SAP Module (Germany), also initiated for establishment of talent pool & placement of right person at the right job.

Introduced placement policy which was based on employees’ cash worth. DesignedJob description of Bill Distributor, Meter Reader, Meter Inspector, Supervisor and Linemen and their jobs enriched / enlarged.

Negotiated & prepared 800+ MoUs / Agreements/Undertakings with different Institutions, Associations, Unions and Individuals related with smooth Business operation, Recovery & Income generation.Developed and drafted “By- Laws” of Employees foundation, also designed highly effective and comprehensive work-sheet for recovery / revenue generation.

Designed training courses for officer & lower-level employees for their personal and professional development also prepared road map for the utilization of “Training Center Building” for CSR / Commercial activities.

Generated revenue to the tune of Rs.120 million per annum through new connections marketing.
